A woman was shot during a robbery attempt at her residence early this morning. Police say two armed black males entered the victim's home on Rose Ridge Place around 2:00 am.The suspects robbed the woman, shot her and fled the home on foot. The victim was transported to CMC with serious injuries.
In addition to the home invasion, police reported three additional armed robberies that occurred overnight:
9:31 pm: A man was robbed by a black male suspect on Norland Road. Police say a male victim was robbed at gun point and the suspect assaulted him with the weapon. The suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a slim black male, 5'10" and wearing a white shirt and black pants.
12:29 am: A man was walking on the sidewalk at 6110 The Plaza when 1-2 black males hit him from behind and knocked him unconscious. The victim regained consciousness, saw his wallet was missing and called police. The victim is expected to be okay.
1:42 am: A man was robbed at gun point by three black males at 300 E. Stonewall St. Police say the suspects robbed the victim and then stole his vehicle. The vehicle is an off-white 2005 Chrysler 300C with SC Plate #SCFG1998.
