Bank Robbery: Wachovia Bank on Albemarle Rd

The FBI Charlotte Safe Streets Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the armed bandit who robbed the Wachovia Bank located at 9005 Albemarle Road.

On Wednesday, at approximately 4:15 p.m., a lone male entered the bank and approached one of the teller windows. After pushing aside the customer who was being waited on, the suspect, who was armed with a black and silver semi-automatic pistol, demanded money from the bank teller.
