UPDATE: Police have identified the body found on Tuesday as 26-year old William Roy Brouillard, 26.Three people are now charged with murder. Amanda Brouillard, 27; Laura Brown, 25; and Jorge Carrillo, 27.

Shortly after 8:00 this morning, a woman was walking her dog and discovered a dead body in the wood line near the road on Windy Grove Road.
Police say they are investigating the case as a homicide with the help of the Charlotte Fire Dept. Fire Marshall. At this time, police are not releasing many details about they case, but they did say they are unable to tell if the victim is male or female, due to the condition of the body.
At a press conference this evening, CMPD officials said they are looking through missing person reports and collecting evidence at the scene to help identify the victim. If you have any information, please call Crime Stoppers.
