Oleg Poladov, 36, was shot and killed last night at the Cross Creek Apartment complex, which is located off Independence Blvd., near Sardis Road North.Poladov was shot in the parking lot and a neighbor who witnessed the shooting drove him to Presbyterian-Matthews hospital but he died on the way.
A friend of the victim says Mr. Poladov was shot by two black teenage boys. He believes the teenagers probably tried to rob Poladov because he is a cab driver and carried cash. The victim leaves behind a wife and two small children. If you wish to help the family, click here.
