The Scottish Bank on Morrison Blvd. Robbed

The FBI Charlotte Safe Streets Task force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individual who robbed The Scottish Bank located at 6525 Morrison Boulevard.

On Tuesday morning, a lone male entered the bank and presented one of the bank tellers with a demand note. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect exited the bank and fled the area. It is not known at this time if the suspect fled the area on foot or in a motor vehicle. No weapon was observed or displayed during the robbery, and there were no injuries as a result of the robbery.

The suspect was described as a white male, approx. 5'6"-5'7", 160 pounds and 50's in age. The suspect also had a large, reddish mark on the right side of his neck. At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a light-colored baseball cap, sunglasses, and a dark-colored, long-sleeved pullover shirt.
