North Charlotte Waffle House is Robbed Again

In the past eleven months, various thugs have robbed a North Charlotte Waffle House six times. Last night, the Hankins Road restaurant was robbed again.

The following information is what CMPD reported about the robberies as they occurred:

  • 11-08-07: 2 armed black males wearing black shirts with bandanas over their faces robbed the restaurant. No injuries.
  • 10-25-07: 1 employee and 3 customers advised that 2 black males came into the business and robbed it. Suspects were described as: (1) B/M, 6'0, 220 lbs, green camouflage pants and green tee shirt, with a black bandana around his face and had a weapon. (2) B/M, dreadlocks, weapon. Suspects left the store on foot.
  • 9-28-07: The Waffle House Restaurant was robbed at gunpoint by 2 B/M's in their mid-teens. Several customers were inside during the robbery who were robbed as well. The suspects fled on foot. K-9 responded to the scene.
  • 5-18-07: The Waffle House was robbed at gunpoint by 2 suspects. 3 employees and 4 customers were inside at the time. No one was injured. Suspect 1: A/M, 5'5", 135 lbs, black hooded sweatshirt, light colored bandana. Suspect 2: B/M, 5'7" and 140lbs.
  • 3-14-07: The Waffle House was robbed by 2 B/M's wearing ski masks. One suspect fired a shot inside the business but no one was hurt.
  • 12-21-06: Victims reported that a light skinned B/M, 6', medium build, short hair, unshaven, wearing a long white shirt and blue jeans, armed with a handgun entered the Waffle House demanding money. Suspect fled on foot toward the Suburban Lodge. No injuries.
