Woman Arrested for ID Theft & Fraud

On September 5, 2007, a 100-year old woman filed a police report stating that her credit card number had been used without her knowledge to make a payment on a BellSouth and Sprint account. The victim also discovered that a second number from one of her credit cards also was used to pay the same Sprint account.
A CMPD Fraud Detective discovered that the Sprint account was opened using a Social Security number that did not belong to the victim. The name on the BellSouth account was that of the suspect, a home health care nurse named Peggy Respass. (aka Peggy Hall Gaston)
A search warrant executed on December 6th revealed paperwork containing personal information and financial information belonging to clients of her employer, CNC-Access Inc. dba At Home Total Care. Police say CNC-Access Inc. has cooperated fully in this investigation.

Peggy Respass was arrested and charged with one count of False Pretense and three counts of unauthorized use of credit device. As the investigation continues additional charges are possible.
