On Monday, at approximately 8:37 pm, Casey Edwards (Top Photo) entered CiCi's Pizza, located at located at 14205 Reece Boulevard.Edwards was wearing a stocking over his face and demanded money from the manager by threatening assault. He then approached two patrons in the restaurant and demanded money and jewelry.
The patrons resisted which resulted in an assault to the male patron with a weapon described as brass knuckles.
Edwards ran from the restaurant and jumped into a burgundy 4-door Mercury vehicle where Joshua Dover (Bottom Photo) was seen waiting in the vehicle.
Huntersville police officers were close by and located the vehicle driving recklessly from the scene. They caught up with the suspect vehicle on McCoy Road.Edwards and Dover were taken into custody and the patrons property was returned. The man who was injured at CiCi’s Pizza was treated at Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville.
As usual, Casey Edwards and Josh Edwards have extensive criminal records.
