Early this morning, CMPD Officers responded to the Mission Mallard Creek Apartments on Bennettsville Lane in response to a 911 call reporting a deceased woman at that location.Police say 20-year old Simrit Gill was killed by her husband, 24-year old Amandeep Brar (R) during an altercation.
Shortly after police found Gill's body, officers located Brar inside a McDonalds at a Wal-Mart near the apartment complex. He is in the Mecklenburg County Jail being held without bond.
