Three Men Arrested for Trafficking Heroin

A CMPD investigation into heroin trafficking resulted in the arrests of three people last week. CMPD Narcotics and patrol officers also seized more than 1.22 kilos of heroin with an estimated street value of more than $300,000. They also seized a weapon, two cars and more than $72,300 in cash.

Abriham Raphael, Fares Misael Fierros-Beas and Gerando Jauregui-Siment were arrested on April 24th and are being held in the Mecklenburg County Jail. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have "holds" on Fierros-Beas and Raphael on immigration violations. An investigation into Raphael's citizenship status is ongoing.

All three face charges for trafficking and maintaining a place to keep controlled substances. Jauregui-Siment also faces charges for Possession and Fierros-Beas faces additional charges for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bonds for each are $2.1 million dollars.
