Mint Hill Police Department: On November 19, 2009, at approximately 9:00 pm, Officers responded to the Food Lion located at 8118 Blair Road in Mint Hill in reference to an armed robbery that occurred in the parking lot.
The victim reported that a white vehicle, driven by a young white male, pulled up to her car while she was loading her groceries in her vehicle and a black male exited the passenger side and approached the victim. The black male demanded that the victim give up her purse and wielded a knife. The victim turned over her purse and the suspects left the scene.
Police obtained surveillance video of this black male suspect using the victim’s credit cards at the Wal-Mart in Monroe at approximately 11:40 pm on the same date. Suspect appears to be around 6’1” tall, muscular build, light skinned black male with a balding or shaved head.
