Police say a man robbed someone outside of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office late Wednesday night. The robbery happened after 11 p.m. in Uptown Charlotte.According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Eddie Price Jr., 23, walked up to the victim and robbed the person before running away. The victim was not injured during the robbery. Price was arrested a short time later by sheriff's deputies.
Price has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and is being held in the Mecklenburg County Jail under a $100,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.
Price has been arrested nine times in the past few years in Mecklenburg County including charges for trespassing, breaking and entering, and resisting arrest.
