Metro Division officers with CMPD arrested Antonio Bing for an armed robbery he committed on Sunday, December 19, 2010. At approximately 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, Metro Division officers were dispatched to the Mighty Midget Market located at 2201 Beatties Ford Road after the clerk called and stated she was robbed at gunpoint.A short time later, a Metro Division officer observed a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle involved in the robbery parked outside of an apartment complex at 3108 Southwest Blvd. The woman who owned the car stated that Bing and her boyfriend used the vehicle earlier that morning.
The woman gave officers consent to search her residence and officers recovered a brown coat and face mask from the woman’s home. The victim later positively identified the clothing as the apparel the suspect wore in the robbery. Antonio Bing was arrested and charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
