Three Men Sentenced in Court for Sex Crimes

Tomeyko Bost
Tomeyko Bost, 46, plead guilty to attempted first degree sex offense on a child.  Bost was sentenced to 12-15 years in prison.
(Note: Bost's 'original charges' on May 11, 2010 were six counts of statutory rape/sex offense >=6yr.  In addition, Bost was arrested on April 1, 2010 for assault on a female w/ cutting instrument & communicating threats.  After his arrest for the child sex charges, he was released and re-jailed on October 20, 2010 for a protective violation. In my opinion, this is not a man who deserved a plea deal!)

Randy Wilson
Randy Wilson, 41, plead guilty to 1) second degree rape, 2) assault by strangulation and 3) possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine. Wilson was sentenced to 10 1/2 - 13 1/2 years in prison.
(Note: The convictions above were only for 1 of his 14 arrests (and charges associated with them) in Mecklenburg County since July of 2009.  The only other conviction was for a B&E he committed on May 28, 2010.  Another habitual offender who should never have been offered any deals or less time because they never prosecuted his other crimes... He should have been off the streets long before he committed a rape!)

Tyquan Carmichael, 19, plead guilty to statutory rape. Carmichael was sentenced to 4 1/2 - 6 1/2 years in prison.
(Note: His original arrest from last May indicates he committed a sex offense and/or raped a 5 year old.  Does his sentence match his crime?)
