CMPD's October Officers of the Month

Kwo
Freedom Division Officer Cheng Kwo has worked this area since July of 2005, and over the last year has begun demonstrating leadership qualities that have made him an exceptional asset to the Division.

He has become a consistently productive officer and over the summer, when the Division knew they would be faced with strong challenges in maintaining our crime reductions with school out of session, Officer Kwo utilized his training and aptitude in traffic enforcement to focus on key target locations in his response area as a way to ensure a presence there, identify potential offenders and prevent possible criminal activity.

In addition, he has sought out opportunities to engage in a greater problem-solving role in his response area, volunteering to work directly with response area coordinators on multiple projects and volunteering for a specialized assignment to allow more direct action on specific problems.
