Kellie Owens

On December 27, 2007, Kellie Owens was found dead in her University City apartment.  Her 2-year old daughter was found unharmed inside the apartment.  To this day, Kellie Owens murder remains unsolved. 

Last week, Owens' mother, Linda, spoke with the media to ask for the public's help in locating her daughter's killer.  She said she's experienced "unimaginable pain" since the death of her only child. 

Kellie Owens grew up in Charlotte and attended Independence High School.  At the time of her murder, she was working with at-risk youth at CMS Schools.  If you have any information for police, please call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 704-334-1600.  The reward for information is at $5,000.
