Three Bystanders Hit by Stray Bullets During Shoot-Out

UPDATE: Terry ONeal Tedder was arrested by members of the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team as he was wanted in connection with the shooting at 2505 N. Pine Street in which three subjects, including a juvenile, were shot and injured.   Mr. Tedder was charged with 3 counts of ADWISI and possession of a Firearm by Felon.

UPDATE:   Onslow Black was arrested and charged with four counts of assault with a deadly weapon- serious injury and other drug charges.

Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Assault with a Deadly Weapon Unit are conducting an investigation into a shooting which left three bystanders injured. The call for service came in at approximately 6pm.

Metro Division patrol officers responded to 2505 N. Pine Street where they located three female victims on the property suffering from gunshot wounds.  The victims were transported to the hospital by MEDIC with non-life threatening injuries.

Based upon initial witness statements, two male adults who were known acquaintances got into an altercation which escalated and shots were fired. The three individuals who were shot were standing in the yard near the altercation and were struck by gunfire.
