Police are searching for two men who robbed the PNC Bank branch located at
1000 East Boulevard Friday afternoon. According to police, two black men in disguises- Jamaican wigs and sunglasses entered the bank, robbed it, fired a shot and left in a silver car, which they abandoned shortly after the robbery.
According to
WCNC, there have already been nearly 50 bank robberies in Charlotte thus far in 2012, compared to 30 total through the first three months of 2011 and 38 through the first three months of 2010.
