A Charlotte resident was shot while his home was robbed early Wednesday morning. According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, who is investigating the case, two suspects forced their way into a home located on Purser Drive about 2:30 Wednesday morning. The two suspects robbed two people inside the house, shooting one of the occupants in the arm in the process.
Police are still looking for the suspects after they left the scene following the robbery. The victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
