CMPD Arrests 2 Teens in Connection With Armed Robbery

Two teenagers were arrested by Charlotte-Mecklenburg police on Monday after they allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint.

Eighteen year-old Quentin Stowe and 16 year-old Rasheed Massey were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. Authorities say the two robbed a man outside of a convenience store on the 5000 block of Statesville Road around 5:00 Monday evening. The suspects left the crime scene on foot. A short time later, police apprehended the two men at one of their homes on Prarie Valley Drive following a pursuit.

The suspects were positively identified by the victim and charged with the crime. Police officers located the gun used in the robbery during the arrest.
