Search Continues for 31 Year Old Mother from Concord

Authorities in Concord are trying to locate a local woman who has been missing since she left work over two weeks ago.

Thirty-one year-old Crystal Morrison Prentice left Connextions Recruiting, located on Corporate Drive, on foot the morning of Thursday, August 23rd. She had called the grandfather of her ex-husband to ask him for a ride. Since that time, no one has seen or heard from her.

Concord Police officers, together with family and friends, have searched for Prentice a number of times. Three of those times authorities used K-9 dogs to attempt to locate her, but with no results.

Family members have stated that it was not normal for Prentice to leave without giving notice as to where she was going. Prentice had loaned her car to a friend, so the friend could pay a utility bill, and did not have her cell phone. Prentice takes medication for an asthma condition.

Concord police and friends have searched several times for Prentice, with police using K-9 dog search units three times. Investigators also have checked phone records at Connextions and have looked at surveillance video from security cameras in the area.

At the moment, Concord police have no leads as to the whereabouts of Prentice, who has an 8 year-old son. Family members held a prayer vigil on Sunday night.

Prentice is described as a 5'5" tall Caucasian female weighing about 100 pounds with blue eyes and blond hair. Anyone that has information on her disappearance is asked to contact Concord police by calling (704) 920-5580.
