Maurice Allen Brantley, 20, was shot and killed inside a vehicle on Dewberry Terrace shortly before 7:00 this evening. Brantley, of Charlotte, was shot while sitting in the driver's seat of a silver Audi with Massachusetts license plates. Police said the man was deceased when Medic arrived on the scene. According to witnesses, a man ran from the scene after the shooting through the apartment complex toward West Blvd. Police would not say if the shooter was in the car or outside the car when the shooting occurred.
