From WSOC-TV:
An accused sex offender is not only living near his alleged victims, but police say he's living near a local elementary school.
An uncle's anguish about the release of the man charged with molesting his nephews is clear.
"It upsets the devil out of me. I mean, it really does and it upsets my sister," he said.
"I sure don't want him messing with any more kids. I don't know how to stop it but something needs to be done," said the uncle, who wished not to be identified.
The assistant district attorney in charge of the case said the district attorney's office did everything possible to convince the judge that Raymes should be denied bond.
Pineville police Lt. Wayne Embrey is concerned about Raymes' proximity to Pineville Elementary.

Police said the close proximity to so many children not only terrorizes a tight-knit community, but could very well put a strain on their resources.
"You're always talking about tying up resources -- available resources -- with our agency and investigations. It's just one more thing that we have to keep on the forefront of what's going on in the community," said Embrey.
Police said they're keeping a very close eye on Raymes and his movements. Officials said his bond was orginally $75,000, but the judge reduced it down to $45,000 because Raymes had no prior criminal history in Mecklenburg County.
