WBTV is reporting that police are investigating a possible gang-related shooting which happened in northwest Charlotte Tuesday night.The drive-by shooting happened on Remington Street near Beatties Ford Road, not far from where a series of other gang-related shootings have happened in recent weeks.
Police said someone in a dark blue Dodge Magnum drove by and opened fire on a man standing in the street. The victim was shot in the leg and suffered serious injuries.The shooting happened in front of Robin Allen's house. "He was walking down the street and got shot and fell in our yard. I asked him had he been shot, he said yes, so I called 9-1-1," Allen said.
