Police have arrested a man for attacking a woman this morning as she walked home from her friend's house on 33rd Street in Charlotte’s NoDa community.Police said 47-year-old Dale Teeter stabbed a woman several times, including in her head, and sexually assaulted her on 33rd Street at about 7:30 a.m. Witnesses said the knife broke off in her head. Witnesses saw the attack and called police.
Teeter wrecked his car on North Davidson Street trying to get away, then ran off.
Teeter is charged with attempted murder and first-degree rape. The woman is expected to recover.News 14 Carolina
