POSTED ON 6-26-06:At 3:30pm, Raynard Allen Humphrey robbed the Wachovia Bank located at 1527 W. Morehead St. According to the Federal Indictment, Humphrey entered the bank, approached the counter and demanded the teller "Get Back!" He then jumped over the counter, grabbed cash and put it in a plastic bag.
Humphrey fled the bank in a Ford Explorer but as he tried to escape- he drove into the path of a construction truck and crashed. CMPD apprehended and arrested Humphrey at the scene.
