Three people were arrested and a fourth was hospitalized following a late-night carjacking in east Charlotte. A group of men pointed a gun at a woman and and stole her car around 11 pm Monday. It happened at the corner of Parkwood Avenue and The Plaza. CMPD chased the suspects until they crashed the stolen car.
21-year old Nathan Nance (left) , 21-year-old Sean Smith (right) , and 22-year-old Tamysha Johnson (lower left) were arrested and are now in custody. Another suspect was injured in the crash and taken to the hospital. His name has not been released.
The four face the following charges: 2 counts- robbery of an individual with a dangerous weapon, 2 counts- conspiracy to commit armed robbery of a person and resisting a public officer.
