To think your loved one died because Medic couldn't get there fast enough- with people not pulling over & delaying their response should really make you want to pull over.Starting today, if you don't move over and give emergency vehicles more room on the road- you will face a hefty fine. The "move over law" has been on the books since 2002, but starting today, violators will face much stiffer penalties.
Fines for violating the move over law jumped from $25 to $250 plus $100 court costs. Violations will also add driver's license and insurance points.
