A woman is in custody for allegedly robbing a boutique and stabbing a woman Monday evening. Authorities say 21-year-old Nina Strickland walked into the Scarlet Lady on Statesville Road pretending to be a customer. She then pulled out a knife, stabbed a woman in the chest and fled the store with stolen merchandise and money. The victim was taken to Presbyterian Hospital to be treated for her injuries. There is no word on her condition.
A short time later, Lincoln County officials spotted Strickland's car at a convenient store off Highway 16 and arrested her. She is charged with armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
Strickland is currently being held in the Mecklenburg County jail. Source: News 14 Carolina
Strickland has been arrested numerous times before for armed robbery, probation violations, child abuse & numerous other offenses. Strickland robbed a Waffle House last December and kept her infant in the car during the robbery. In my opinion, she should have been in jail!
