Shooting in West Charlotte

A man was found shot to death in a West Charlotte community, after multiple shots were fired in the area around 3:30 Saturday morning. Officials say two men were arguing before the shooting.
Police say at least three homes on the 2400 block of Booker Avenue were hit during the spray of bullets, but no one inside was hurt.


Nearly 30 officers were called out to the neighborhood to keep the large crowd of residents that gathered outside under control. Police do not have any suspects, but have questioned several witnesses.

The homicide unit is investigating the shooting and the victim’s name has not been released. A
