Around 10 am this morning, a double shooting occurred a block apart in the Hidden Valley Neighborhood, located in North Charlotte. (Hidden Valley is a neighborhood off Sugar Creek Road, south of Interstate 85)The shootings left one man dead and another in the hospital. It is unknown how many bullets were fired but bullet holes were seen on cars and property in the area.
The first shooting occurred on Bannister Place where one man was shot in the leg and transported to the hospital. Around fifteen minutes later, Sterling Raynard Wallace, 23 (Right) was found dead from gun shot wound in the driveway of a house on Vancouver Drive.Police say the two shootings are related.
