Police took down four armed robbery suspects in east Charlotte late Monday night. An off-duty officer spotted a burgundy-colored Dodge Stratus similar to the description of a get-away car used in an armed robbery at the Value City store on Sardis Road North.
The off-duty officer followed the car until other on-duty officers could take over the pursuit. Eventually, the suspects pulled over on East W.T. Harris Boulevard. Officers arrested the four men. They were charged with armed robbery, assault by pointing a gun, and kidnapping/false imprisonment. Those arrested were: Cordaryl Coleman, Nathaniel Rorie, Dante Dillard and James Dillard.
