A man carrying a gun held up the RBC Centura Bank on the corner of East Boulevard and Dilworth Road West around 9:30 am this morning.Police have not said how much money the man got away with. Police said the robber is a black man who was wearing a blonde wig and sunglasses. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket.
FBI (Charlotte) has released the following information and photos:
A lone robber entered the RBC Centura bank at 1000 East Blvd, in Charlotte, at approximately 9:30 a.m. today. The robber brandished a silver handgun and demanded money. He is described as a black male and was wearing a dark blue suit coat, button up dress shirt, a blonde wig, facial hair disguise and sunglasses. The robber is described as 5' 8" to 5' 10", and medium build. He left on foot. (See photos below) Anyone with information on the bank robbery should contact the Charlotte FBI at 704-377-9200.
