On Sunday- around 8:30 pm, CMPD officers were dispatched to a home in the 1800 block on Cannon Avenue in reference to a domestic dispute.Police found Jermaine Thomas Lotharp, 33, shot in the chest. Lotharp was taken to Carolinas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. His wife and son were home at the time and both have been taken in for questioning. As of today, no charges have been filed.
