Police in Pineville, NC are investigating the town's first homicide of the year. On Monday, officers were called to 114 Olive Street in reference to a medical call. When they arrived, they found Richard Drost dead inside the home. Investigators said the 43-year-old died as a result of a gunshot wound. Police do not have any suspects at this time in connection with this murder.
