Captured: Phillip Gainey

Update: 11/16/06- Phillip Gainey (R) was arrested in Winston-Salem, NC by members of the CMPD Violent Criminal Apprehension Team and the US Marshalls Service.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have obtained an arrest warrant for 29 year old Phillip Gainey. He is wanted for shooting yesterday's murder victim, Renorda Pough.

Gainey goes by the street name of "Capone." Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Gainey is asked to call Crimestoppers at 704-334-1600 or dial 911.
