A Union County grand jury found no probable cause to indict anyone in the death of a 38 year old burglary suspect, John David Mobley. Mobley was shot to death in September at a home on Locklyn Drive. Police say Mobley was breaking into cars owned by Lonnie Kirkley when Kirkley grabbed a gun and went outside to investigate. They say Kirkley fired once, hitting Mobley. No arrests were ever made in the case.
