A second person was murdered today. A man was shot and killed around 8:15 pm tonight at the Waterford Creek apartments on Waterford Creek Lane in east Charlotte. Police say someone shot the victim multiple times in the back as he got out of a van. He died before he reached the hospital.
Police do not know what prompted the shooting nor did they release the victim's name. Police are looking for a white Jeep Cherokee but they didn't have a good description of the shooter.
