Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police arrested a 14-year old boy today after a School Resource Officer and Principal found a loaded pistol in his backpack at Vance High School. Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Officials said the gun was discovered around 8:00 this morning after they received an anonymous tip.
CMS officials said the gun was loaded with one bullet, however, the student did not threaten anyone with the gun. Today's incident is the 8th gun CMS Officials have found on CMS campuses this school year.
