CMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating yet another murder in Charlotte. Around 3:30 this afternoon, Alnoble Hambrick, 71, was found shot to death in his townhouse, located at the Alexander Townhomes on Lex Drive.Police responded to Hambrick's home after they received a report of a man shot in the chest. Police arrived and found Hambrick shot to death inside the residence.
Hours later, police arrested 20-year old Tyjuan Demetrius Collins (R) and charged him with murder and armed robbery. Police say Collins victimized a second person, which led to the armed robbery charge. However, they haven't provided any further details.
Alnoble Hambrick is Charlotte's 34th murder victim this year.
