The Wachovia Bank located at 712 Tyvola Road was robbed yesterday afternoon around 4:55pm. A man entered the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The man fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The robber is described as a white male, approximately 5' 8", skinny build, approximately 35 years of age and had a gray or gray/blond pony tail. The suspect was wearing a blue baseball cap with sunglasses perched on the visor of the cap, a buttoned down shirt, and baggy pants.
