Feree Boswell, 28, is in the Mecklenburg County Jail after he shot his ex-girlfriend and a 4-year old girl on Homewood Drive yesterday. Police say 24-year Geri Woods was shot in the face twice and is in critical condition. The 4-year old was shot in the back and is expected to recover.At the time of the attack, Woods had a protection order against Boswell. Woods claimed he tried to strangle her and she feared for her life. In addition, Boswell is suspected of burning her apartment earlier this month.
At the time of the shooting, Boswell was working through a temp agency for the City of Charlotte Utilities Department. He was driving a city truck at the time of the attack on Woods. (More Info)
