CMPD is seeking the public’s help in locating the escaped juvenile shown right. He is one of three juveniles who escaped from Gatling Detention Facility last week. The two other juveniles have been located and taken into custody.Police say they had to obtain a court order to allow them to release the juveniles photo. While the law generally protects the identity of juvenile suspects, there is an exception that permits the release of a photo under certain circumstances, such as an escape from custody.
The suspect is 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 125 lbs. He has black hair, brown eyes and short, straight hair. Anyone who sees this individual or knows of his whereabouts should call 911. Do not attempt to apprehend him as he was in custody facing several armed robbery charges.
