At 3:15 this morning, a man and woman were shot and killed inside their home on Secrest Short Cut Road, which is located inside the Suburban Lane Mobile Home Park in Indian Trail, NC.Union County Sheriff Deputies responded and found 32-year old Carlos Armando Arteaga Del-Angel and 28-year old Maria Elvira Celedon, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Another female adult and the couple's two children, ages four and six, were in the home at the time of the shooting but they were left unharmed.
Union County Sheriff’s Deputies and the State Bureau of Investigation are conducting an investigation and will not speculate on a motive for the homicides.
