4-year old Adam Tanksley was diagnosed in January 2008 (at 3 years old) with Stage IV Wilms’ Tumor, a very rare childhood kidney cancer, with an unfavorable histology. Adam has been in and out of the hospital for chemotherapy treatments, blood transfusions, fevers, infections, etc.On Monday, Adam's Mother was on her cell phone outside of CMC (Levine Children's Hospital) when she was robbed of her purse by a thug. As if this family doesn't have enough to deal with?! Always be aware of your surroundings at all times!!
