Early this morning, a Hispanic male was approached in the parking lot of the apartments at 1600 block of Eastcrest Dr. by a black male who robbed him. During the robbery, the victim was struck multiple times in the head with a handgun.
The suspect fled in a red pickup truck occupied by other individuals. The victim flagged down nearby patrol officers and the vehicle was stopped. The following individuals were charged:
Immanuel Adel Walker:
- Armed Robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, and resisting arrest.
- Walker is on probation for the 2/13/2007 armed robbery of B’s coin laundry in Mint Hill after being given a plea to common law robbery.
Ronald Dewayne Deese:
- Armed robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a stolen firearm, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Angelica Hope Peeler:
- Armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery
- Driving while license revoked.
Anthony Alexander Robinson:
- Armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery
