25 Felons Sentenced to Jail!

Thirty (30) defendants pled guilty to felonies in Mecklenburg County Superior Court before The Honorable Eric L. Levinson, Superior Court Judge. The defendants entered guilty pleas from November 29, 2010 - December 3, 2010. Twenty-five (25) of the thirty defendants to enter guilty pleas were given active prison sentences; among them were:

Sequi Castle, 35, pled guilty to Possessing a Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a school and being a habitual felon. Castle was sentenced to 66-89 months in prison. Sequi Castle was arrested NINE times in Mecklenburg County between 2008-2010.

Donell Potts, 38, pled guilty to two counts of Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Cocaine, Selling Cocaine, Selling Marijuana and being a habitual felon. Potts was sentenced to 66-89 months in prison.

Augusta Smalls, 40, pled guilty to Possessing a Stolen Motor Vehicle and being a habitual felon. Smalls was sentenced to 66-89 months in prison.

Charleston Clinton, 33, pled guilty to Breaking or Entering and Larceny after Breaking or Entering. Clinton was sentenced to 38-46 months in prison.
