CMPD Metro Division Officers Arrest Three Robbery Suspects

On May 14th at approx. 1:45 am, CMPD's Metro Division Officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon which occurred in the 2500 block of Beatties Ford Road.  The victims stated they just left the McDonald’s when the three suspects approached them at gunpoint and demanded that the victims empty their pockets. One of the victims resisted and was struck in the face with the weapon.

A neighbor assisted the victims and circulated the area looking for the suspects.  A short time later, the victims spotted the suspects on Keller Street and called 911 with the description and whereabouts of the suspects. 

Officers arrived on Keller Street and observed three men matching the description of the suspects and detained the trio.  The victims positively identified the suspects as the men involved in the robbery.  Police arrested Keith Rivera, David Lameek Rivera and Jarvis Jabar Wilson.  All three suspects were arrested and charged with two counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.

Officers were able to make quick arrests in this case with the assistance of an engaged neighbor who helped the victims locate the suspects.  CMPD continues to urge citizens to observe and report suspicious activity by calling 911.  Anyone with information on any unsolved cases may forward their anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
