The suspects and victim were known acquaintances. Aaron Bernard Bryant has been charged with murder and Brandon Dominic Green has been charged with accessory after the fact. Anyone with additional information concerning this case may forward anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.

Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are conducting a homicide investigation which occurred in the area of 3463 Marvin Road. CMPD Providence Division officers responded to a call of an assault with a deadly weapon at the location. When officers arrived on scene they discovered the victim, Kelvin Lancaster, outside of the location deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.

Based on information gathered by detectives it appears the shooting stemmed from an altercation between the suspect and victim. Additionally, the deceased does not appear to be a random victim in this shooting as the suspect and victim are known acquaintances.
Detectives with the Homicide Unit and ADW Unit are on scene conducting the investigation. Crime Scene Search is on scene as well, photographing the scene and collecting physical evidence.
