Man Arrested after Stabbing Co-Worker in Neck

On Thursday morning, CMPD Officers arrested James Russell Rollins after he was accused of cutting or stabbing a female co-worker in the neck at the Hyatt Place Charlotte. (Charlotte Airport/Tyvola Rd location)

After the stabbing occurred, CMPD Officers spotted James Rollins' driving his vehicle near the intersection of Beam Road and South Tryon Street.  Police stopped Rollins and took him into custody. 

The woman Rollins cut was treated and released from CMC.  Rollins also had lacerations on his hand and was treated at the hospital as well.

Rollins is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill using a cutting instrument. His bond was set at $100,000.
